quit job. get a new car and a nice small house, or possibly a condo. set aside $10 million to give away to family (less than 10 ppl), $1 million for friends (5-10 ppl), and give everyone i work with $5,000 (about 100 ppl). donate $10 million to a small charity i believe in. that should leave more than $250 mil, easy. get a really good accountant, lawyer, and financial consultant.

finish last 1 1/2 years of bachelor's degree. spend a gap year in another country doing psych-related volunteer work. find the perfect graduate school with exact program and mentor i want, regardless of the price.

i would travel for 6 months. I'd visit every distillery in Scotland. I'd attend every single day of Octoberfest. I'd get drunk at pub in London and riot with English footballers. I'd spend a month in france drinking nothing but Cabernet. And i'd finish my trek in Kentucky, parked for a week outside the Maker's Mark factory.

i would give 10% to my parent's to retire and travel. and give 1 million to each brother to keep them forever indebted to me. i'd pay my grandma back the $100 i owe her, and kick my father some money so he doesn't die poor. oh, plus 2 million to my bff because i love her.

for myself i would pay off my debts, get a haircut, buy nicer clothes, pay people to do my homework, quit work and just volunteer, and buy a motorcycle. when it's time to leave chicago i would buy a badass home in arizona like this:

i'd buy a car for tim, too, and give him anything he wanted (unless i didn't want him to have it ).

Probably bail out the local arts college, which is about to be merged with another university's art department. And set up scholarships, fellowships and residencies for writers.

I dunno if I'd keep any. I think about it sometimes and wonder if I'd be happier in the long run, if I could know inside myself that I hadn't kept any for myself.

I would probably seek to fulfill my lifelong dream of hunting a human being and consuming their flesh, knowing full well that my wealth will keep me insulated from reprisal.

First thing I would do is buy my parents houses. I would invest a whole bunch of the money and then take a bunch and go traveling for who knows how long, maybe forever. I would probably bankroll some charities and non-profits. I would take guitar lessons and blow some money on new instruments and gear. Beyond that I don't really know how I could possibly spend so much money.

I have a silly dream of buying up farmland outside the city and setting up a sustainable no till working farm. I don't actually want to be a farmer I'd hire a farmer to run it.
