In 2004, the GDP per head in Cornwall was 79.2% of the EU average.

In 2011, GDP per head in Cornwall was 64% of the European average.

The GDP per head in the UK as a whole was 123.0% of the EU average.

The EU is broke, I'm sure they're aware. However, that type of windfall could be had the world over, but you have to extract the Rothschild/Rockefeller et. al. family control of world finances that prevents such a jubilee from happening. Brexit is a decent step toward that end.
