Default Space X

Space X just launched a bunch of satelites into space and landed the rocket back onto the launch pad in Florida.

launch at about 30 min into this video. Landing at about 40 min

watching the whole thing i get the impression that everyone who works at Space X is half my age

Interesting guy that Elon Musk. He took the high road on their launch failure earlier this year but this success is a big step towards showing the irrelevancy and chicanery of NASA.

I hope he succeeds on the Hyperloop and renders irrelevant that "speed-train-that-isn't-a speed-train" union payoff project in California. Mussolini would be impressed with that racket.

This is not my own original thought though I wish it were. Thinking that we are created by a super intelligent alien is not substantively different than thinking we were created by God

It's only different in how it makes people feel

Once a student told me that God is like a single celled organism that divided infinitely to create everything in the universe

Ahh yes... this leads into The A.I. in the sky. There's this Jamaican guy who was one of the early codebreaker/hacker types for the banks in N.Y. back in the day. He's an Ex-patriot now but has a youtube channel where he smokes fat doobies and waxes philosophic on this "A.I. in the sky" angle. Basic premise is the A.I. currently manifesting on earth mimics the big one up there.
