Bernie's tone has changed and I think its more than just his sweep this weekend, but that he knows the hammer is about to drop on Hillary. His atypical hubris about the superdelegates needing to change over to his side is telling. Clinton has become too much of a liability, and TPTB don't want things to self destruct while shes posing as their Puppet-In-Chief.

She's in not only a very weak compromised and vulnerable position right now - with immunity granted to a key individual in the investigation - but all eyes are on this and esp on Bernie.


I go back and forth on an impending indictment; today it seems inevitable now. Whatever crimes of her past that she's gotten away with, doesn't compare to the stakes of a presidential election. It's possible of not plausible she's being implicitly and explicitly blackmailed to shut her trap and go quietly.

Today the Clinton's told Sanders to change the tone of his campaign if he wants a N.Y. debate. Chuck Grassley chimed in to say they need to change their tone because the FBI is going to question Hillary.

Granted, Judicial Watch has been a thorn in the Clinton's side before and politically speaking can be brushed aside. BUT, things are different with this case, as proven here:

Exceedingly rare, yes. But granted in this case. Fascinating. And lastly, Judicial Watch is one thing, the FBI is another:

Maybe the FBI will talk to her, be satisfied to some measure she's exonerable, and move on. However, that seems less likely now if indeed there was a SAP compromise. SAP is the network outside of the regular internet that the gov and military use for the most sensitive of information.

Those 22 emails withheld from the public are thought to be of the SAP variety. There's also rumours of a rogue grand jury because the DOJ is doing its level best to thwart the investigation.

Nothing short of fascinating all this. It's coming to a head soon, well before the election and likely before the Democratic convention.

Trump said something along the lines of this during his campaign speech in Wisconsin today: "People have a problem with me cause of my personality... It's no secret that Clintons a super-pac puppet.

A leftist? maybe not, but I don't really buy that these words are meaningful in some kind of de-contextualized, abstract sense where they just get compared to our moral ideals. Clinton's voting record in the Senate lands her in the most liberal 25% of senators. America has been a deeply conservative country for decades and we are just now swinging back. Is Bernie a better liberal, IMO yes obviously, but is Clinton conservative? Not at all, not by any standards that take into account the actual field of American politics

Elphenor, you hit the nail on the head when you said she would adapt to whatever the mainstream thinks on social issues, but apply that to everything. She is an establishment populist. She will sit wherever she judges the center of mainstream liberal America to be, which is exactly why Bernie remains so important even if he can't win. He makes her a stronger, better, smarter candidate and he brings her more in touch with millennial liberalism which she doesn't get.
