How to get around anti-adblocker?

I've noticed an increasing number of sites over the past month are using scripts to block adblock software. CBS and Forbes come to mind. I suppose this was inevitable. Anyone know of fixes for getting around anti-anti-ad scripting? It's hard enough to browse the internet on my fucking phone without adblock that I generally avoid it altogether, and now the shitlords are taking it away on the PC as well

***loading because of full page video ads***
*Accidentally click on one of said ads while scrolling*
***backup***
*try to click on target link but it jumps 7 lines down because of an embedded ad while the page continues to load*

*can't find the X for the fullscreen ad*
*can't stop autoplay*
