The Mormons take the brunt of religious ridicule but if we're being intellectually consistent, the Book of Mormon is no crazier than Revelations.
Except for the fact that it was translated 200 years ago using a magic rock and all real theologians know that Revelations was really just coded warnings about what at the time were current events.

So yeah no crazier except for the fact that yeah it's totally crazier. The two really don't compare at all if you actually you know, know what you are talking about.

Both are based entirely on the account of one man with zero corroboration, one of whom was a blatant con man and the other having lived in exile in a cave for decades doing god knows what, probably jacking off and gazing at the stars and smoking substance

You're really cherry picking the bible there though. The Book of Mormon is kind of a different animal. Partially due to its newness. Whether or not that's fair.

The Book of Mormon is better compared to Exodus or Genesis, it's an uncorroborated supposed historical account of a group of people and their relationship with God. Whereas Revelation is prophecy and could be highly metaphorical/poetic so it's always going to sound pretty crazy, or at least, not based on reality.

In that case, yes...they're as crazy as each other. Although...one does have limited archaeological evidence for some of its content and the other, as far as I'm aware has a total of no evidence for any of its content.

wow you just compared some bullshit story written a couple hundred years ago to one of the masterpieces and cornerstones of world literature which evolved over millenia and is based on oral traditions our ancestors shared and perfect thru-out generations as countless as the sand on the seashore.

i hope you get hemorrhoids and give birth to a snake-baby.
