The tale of Weezer is a sad one. From brilliance to crap. Theres actually a lot of parallels between Smashing Pumpkins run and Weezers run. I guess the only difference is there was a lot of irony and awareness to what Weezer was doing with albums like Raditude as opposed to Billy flailing away hopelessly.

When Weezer received luke-warm reactions for Maladroit Cuomo lashed out and blamed the fans and called them "Whiny little bitches". Definitely Corgan like.
