When my mum is serving up food that's good for digestion, she says that her nana would say it's "good for your foo-foo valves"

She says "Hi de hi" and "good-o" on the phone and text/Facebook

My mum speaks Samoan-english. She says "that's beauty ", and "in which I told her/him", and "it's not really nice, is it? "

My Dad is a native English speaker. He says "you're slower than a wet week " "crikey" "what a pratt" and "absolute bastard"

oh man this thread was made for me. my dad is a professor of sda theology originally from Bosnian. so, as you might imagine, HELLA LULZ!

ok here's a couple to get started:

1. If I start being argumentative he will chirp up: "Too much talking!" (in heavy Bosnian accent).

2. "It takes a robber to catch a robber."

3. "If you play with fire, you're gonna get burned."

all of this in a heavy Bosnian accent.

he's cute. my bro and I just roll our eyes. I will think of some more gems to share. he also tells extremely corny biblical jokes like

"When Adam asked Eve 'do u luv me' she said 'who else.'"

and

"When was tennis first mentioned in the Bible?"
"When Joseph served in Pharoah's court!"

all in a heavy Bosnian accent.
