Question Do you guys remember Teddy Ruxpin?

I never had him but that always seemed like the coolest toy.

OH MY GOSH!!! I LOVE Teddy Ruxpin! I had the little talking doll where you put a tape into his back and then his eyelids and mouth would move. He was so underrated. Oh man nostalgia. He was so cool. You just made my night about 20% better. thanks.

I just remember walking by Kay-Bee Toy Store and he'd be looking at me going "Hi! My name is Teddy Ruxpin!" And his eyes and mouth would move. And I would be in awe.

I had a Teddy Ruxpin, but his jaw fell off, the part that moved, so when he talked you could just see the gears n shit on the inside, and his eyes moved, it used to freak the hell outta me, so my mom had to keep it in her room. Looked like something out of a manson video.

But when he had a full mouth he was pretty badass.

i had a baby alive and my brother threw her against the wall and her head came off and there was still food in her intestine that hadn't come out of her bumhole yet She lay there, motionless, with a pink tube connecting her naked body to her broken head.

Maybe it was the shifty eyes.

I also had a Teddy Ruxpin. I loved him. I specifically remember two of his songs.. "Quiet please" and "Two hands are better than one"... I wonder where those tapes are...

My little sister's infamous companion was an interactive talking doll named Baby Heather (by Mattel I think). She grew up from 6 months to 3 years over the duration of a few weeks. She moved her eyes, head, and mouth as she talked. She would scream "Up Mama! Up!" in the middle of the night and begin crying if you didn't wake up to play with her. My family was so sick of that fucking doll.

My 4-yr old sister finally got fed up with her and tried to flush her down the toilet! When that plan failed, she dismembered her.

I've always wanted Teddy ruxpin. I later wanted one to put nirvana's nevermind in it. I've always wanted to see him spew out things not originally intended to be said by him--especially music.

hahaha, yea.
I got Teddy Ruxpin for xmas one year, and when my uncle came over, he put a tape of Frank Sinatra or something in him and then he and the rest of my relatives watched him sing along to it for like an hour, laughing their asses off.
I was pretty pissed, cuz i just got it and they wouldnt let me play with it.

And wasnt there a centipede or something from that show that u could also buy?

Holy shit, I had one of those! FAVORITE TOY EVAR. I would play with that thing for hours on end. I remember it being really heavy too, but that might just be because I was little when I had it. I miss my baby Heather, I wish it still worked.

I really wanted a teddy ruxpin, but no one ever got me one.
