spin-off: describe the movie of your life
from the chat thread.
So mine is like some horror movie but instead of people who act like monsters it's monsters who act like people. So I grow up, a human amongst monsters who are disguised as people and treat me like shit. And then I grow up and realize not all people are monsters disguised as people but then I find out I am also a monster disguised as a person. And then I guess that's the end, perhaps a sequel TBA |

This is pretty much me and M (well when we live together which we used to more) but without the alcohol and cigarettes. It would be mainly scenes like this of two self obsessed and neurotic people. Tragicomedy. I mean you can't really have a film of just me on my own anwyay. Not unless you go all black and white art house with inner monologue...but who wants to see this shit. If you're doing my whole life from the beginning though, then i don't know. |

It is.
It's one of my favorite. It's super cult in the UK (and nowadays probably everywhere) but i think a lot of people enjoy it more for the alcoholic bits. Which are great but i'm more into the neurotic self obsessed thing. Nowadays i just like to read the script. I wanted to ******* the opening diner scene that precedes this one but couldn't get both in one on youtube. |

Here's a trailer that I wrote for the movie of my life, when I was 12. It wasn't a movie about my actual life; you will see that quite clearly. It was a movie about my fantasy life.
{voice over}They called her....Emma "don't drop shot me" [surname] (shot of me returning a drop shot)....they called him....Chris "don't mess with me" [surname](shot of him making a fierce face)....together, their talent and passion made them THE BEST MIXED DOUBLES TEAM EVER (shots of us playing tennis and winning, fist pumping etc.). BUT....can their complicated relationship survive THE HEAT? (shots of us in various anguished moments - and a shot of me crying out "I don't know if you're my coach or my boyfriend!") I think that's as far as I managed to write, actually....it sort of covered the ground I was hoping would need to be covered.... |

My life would probably be a goofy-ass comedy with a clumsy lead, who manages to overcome the pressure of following her relatives' career to live her own offbeat and quirky life.
It would also have some romantic comedy aspects and have genuine feelz every now and then, almost as if there was a "Friends" film that centered around Phoebe. |
