there's so much more unrevealed backstory to her character i feel like, because of course she was the most unpopular character (her best funniest moments aren't really punchline jokes) they didn't focus on her character as much as they could have. i wish they would have. she's a fucking basket case.

so because of all that she's my favorite character as of late. i'm just really intrigued by her motives and i think about her a lot. i've watched the entire run 4 times now not counting random syndication episodes.

I wasn't a fan of Bill's character, but he usually had the best episodes: the Cajun family, the pyramid scheme, the tank, the drunk shelter and the all-men's chorus were all great.

Dale, despite being my favorite character, usually had the weakest character-themed episodes. Ditto Boomhauer (though the episode with Brad Pitt as his brother was fantastic).

For me, Hank stops short of being likeable due to fact that the rod up his butt has a rod up its butt. He's still a quality character, though.

Peggy...ugggggh.

Bobby is great, just because he's such a perfect foil for Hank.

Cotton was always a hoot. Ditto Kahn and Buck.

Luanne just annoyed the crap out of me.

yeah.. kind of weird because i never really wondered what he did for a living. to my knowledge it was never a running gag or anything

I always had a fondness for Brittany Murphy because she did luanne. She made horrible films and poor life decisions (but then again don't we all) but she did a great Luanne so figured she couldn't be all bad. She mainly had a horrible mother.
