Any time theres new blood around this place they just get torn to pieces... But lets face it, before the O-board closed this place was shockingly deserted. I was more of a lurker in those days but I'd log on and there'd be like 3 new threads a day... Total ghost-town.

So I don't get why everyones so ready to bust out the pitchfork any time someone new joins the discussions.

I'll admit, I wasn't visiting the O-board when a lot of the Belt drama went down or whatever. Even if he did say some questionable things, it's a different forum... Why not engage with the guy on a fresh slate?

SP has an eclectic fanbase and community and ideally it'd be nice if there was a place where everyone could go and discuss things without being constantly goaded all of the time
