another example would be orphan black. i watched the first couple episodes back when they aired and thought it was pretty mediocre and decided to not invest my time in. coworkers wouldn't shut up about how awesome it was during the second half of season 2 so i watched the rest of it and what i originally thought was mediocre i began to hate with a passion.

Like with Battlestar Galactica (the remake obvs). I thought it was pure garbage but apparently no one thinks so....and it makes me hate the show more.

To be fair i only watched the first season but if you cant get interesting after like 20 episodes, not worth my time. I stopped because i realised i didnt give a shit about any of those characters, whether they died or not, whatever happened... i was completely indifferent to it all (actually no, i really wanted Starbuck to die...). But bland characters isnt even my whole issue with it.

The only half decent character was Adama. Olmos was also probably the only good actor on the show....

Darren McGavin did do a couple of X-Files episodes. I checked his IMDB to see if he had been in any Twilight Zone's, to my surprise he wasn't. But he was in a few Alfred Hitchcock Hour shows back in the way day...1955.

i have a thing for michael ian black. his last book was pretty awesome too (you're not doing it right).

i dont understand how none of his shows ever make it very far. and how, despite that fact, he's still a very well respected writer/sketch actor who is involved in a lot of different hilarious, thought provoking, and sometimes profound stuff.

more has to do with your mental illness and your unfortunate malady in not being able to enjoy anything at all, for any reason unless it's one of the 15 acceptable things that give you a small amount of pleasure

wow, came in here to sing the praises of this amazing show and apparently i did it, two months ago! re-watched it, only 3 or so more episodes left but goddamn i love this thing

at this point i feel like P.A., at least where i am in the show, has gone off from its main storyline to this sorta series of "mini-tales" or something, which is odd, and i'm wondering if it's going to veer back into the actual case & whatnot because honestly i don't remember

+ dvds for this one are upwards of $50 for the 3 episode sets. i own the first two, but am more lamenting that i didn't just get the last 2 as a high schooler when they were 20 or so than i am plotting any capitalistic ebay auctions
