Default short lived television shows that you liked or just remember

The Job - Denis Leary cop show that was on for a month. The woman who played Hilary on The Fresh Prince was also on the show.

John From Cincinatti - really weird sureal HBO show about a family of surfers

Im gonna say Earth 2. But that show most definitely has not aged well. They should remake it now; I think it could be awesome with today's audiences.

Maybe Daybreak but on the other hand..i don't see where else it could have went.

I rarely check out shows before theyre a few seasons in for this very reason. I don't want to start caring only to find out its not getting a second season. I didnt start lost until the like next to last season...

i liked My so called life then but would probably hate it now. Well...i mainly liked it u think cause i had a giant crush on Claire Danes. Talk about someone who didn't age well...just a handful of years after that i was like...who is this person, where's angela chase? She had turned blonde and too thin.

It was a weird part of my life thinkign back about it, right after dropping out of college, isolated in my hometown, all hs friends gone, nothing to do nowhere to go, my brother during his first real depression moment (hes bipolar) so he had went to live with a family friend... I would pretty much daydream about being part of the perfect suburban life Angela chase was having and pictured i was her bf.... yes, yes, it was all pretty pathetic.

Agreed on Freaks and Geeks and Strange Luck. I am surprised anybody besides me remembers the later. I also really like Space: Above and Beyond, Better Off Ted, Andy Richter Controls the Universe. Pretty much any quirky, short-lived comedy or sci-fi that lasted a few seasons or less I probably watched.

I also really liked Strangers with Candy and got into The Pretender, but both lasted much longer than I thought. Strangers with Candy only had thirty episodes though so I am mentioning it anyway.

Agreed with Freaks and Geeks, probably the ultimate short lived show

Clone High is one of my favourite shows, period

Hounds was a really well written and acted NZ comedy that ran a couple of years ago

Quote:
Hounds follows the fortunes of a shiftless lawyer, his half-sister and an alcoholic dog trainer who are trying to live under one roof and make good on the track.

Will (Toby Sharpe) is struggling at his law firm. His heart isn’t in it and he is making mistakes at work. But one day everything changes. His Dad dies, leaving him half a house; a half-sister Lily (Susana Tang); a greyhound racing dog; and its unpredictable trainer Marty (Mick Innes).

Although he is now supposed to be Lily’s guardian, Will is pretty unenthusiastic about the role. Fortunately for him, Lily is 12 going on 20. She ran her father’s greyhound business and cared for her Dad following her mother’s death. She’s also quick to realise that she might have to look after her Peter Pan half-brother more than he looks after her.

Marty has been a trainer all his life and, for all his strange theories, he is very, very good at it. He will look after the dog and Lily to his dying day. He’s just not legally allowed to. That’s where Will comes in. Marty needs Will to want to stay Lily’s guardian, live in the house, and keep the dog. So he’s pleased when Will moves in; and like Lily, a bit concerned when the first thing Will does is consult a valuer.

Just when it appears that the three mismatched characters will combust, they find the one thing they have in common – hounds – and it pulls them together just enough to cohabitate as a funny, warm and wryly inappropriate family.

Dirty Sexy Money was pretty good, also. Had a terrific cast. I think the writer's strike screwed it up.
