Why do people complain about service so much?

No its about not letting shitty people get away with it one more time so they keep on thinking they can keep being shitty people without consequences. The intention is to actually make the world a better place. If you're just professional enough you should be able to make abstraction of your personal life or feelings when at work. Well to be honest my idea is not to get them fired usually unless they were pretty damn awful. I just hope they get told this isn't acceptable by their bosses and stop doing it.

i'm poor. I'll take it. And yes i'm being bought but at least that's SOMETHING. Like I'd still prefer to have a painless experience when i travel with Amtrak this holiday then having a horrible experience and have to complain about it even if i get vouchers. See i believe that with enough complaints businesses will make changes. It might be naive but i'll try anyway.

And i never actually asked for a manager anywhere, i've always complained by email. This way i can express myself clearly.

This reminds me, I was going in to Publix the other day and a perfectly physically capable lady was walking out and having a Publix employee push her cart with a couple of bags in it. This employee was a smaller girl that looked like she was born with some sort of defect and was walking with a noticeable limp. I really hated humanity at that moment.

I almost never complain to the staff themselves. Only if my order is clearly fucked.

I do complain ABOUT service, but it is mostly the frustration of seeing someone not take pride in their work. There are thousands of people that could take that person's job and turn in a diamond of a performance, because they care. If you're habitually slopping through the day, have some self respect and find another way to waste your time, not mine.

Oh ok then. I didn't realise. Yeah these people suck. But do people like that ever actually go talk to a manager?

Well i have to say yeah ive seen customers being like..."why don't you guys open another cash?" Like its just some genius idea they had that the employees hadn't thought of...CLEARLY if there was someone around to be at a second cash, they would open it.

Very rarely have i see a line that was slow because the clerk was slow. Its always the customers.

Why SHOULDN'T an employee that's been an asshole face consequences? Why should i be ok with this? I don't mean have them fired (unless they went over the line by a long long way...), but certainly get a warning. Not being an asshole isn't hard. It really isn't. If someoen finds it hard, they need to quit working and get therapy.


I know i often sound like one but its only assholes that turn me into an asshole. Most times anyway.

And most of the time it isn't really the fault of the people you can see. Places that have bad service usually have bad systems of delivering that service.

Well yes im aware some employees turn shitty because of shitty customers but they dont have to make everyone pay for it.


Like most employees of montreal transit systems are pretty much if not rude at least unpleasant but its common knowledge they become this way because people are awful to them. I DO cut them some slack.

this was my old job

nothing but angry people who can't figure out why we can't do what they want within a half hour, in fact there was a queue that was at least two or three days long if you were lucky. and this was because their employer was running the "service" we supposedly provided at an extreme discount which means that there were never enough people to do the work. i know a lot of people resent the slogan "An emergency on your part does not necessarily mean an emergency on my part" but i think it's very true. just because you did it at the last minute doesn't mean you get any special treatment and further, why should you?

the real issue is that mgmt tend to treat all complaints as legitimate, "The Customer Is Always Right" but reading yelp reviews you can really see how the customer is frequently wrong and unreasonable. I know they think it's good business but really if you tell someone that's being unreasonable that they're being unreasonable you should, we're all so spoiled.

the best thing about yelp in austin is all the hipsters complaining about how many hipsters there are at the hip eatery. It's like if you hate them so much why did you move here from california? should have moved to dallas, retard.

I guess using the term medical trial is wrong. They actually call them medical studies. A trial is more lie you mentioned, taking a drug to help with a condition you have. But when you say medical studies people don't get what you mean.
