if anything eating wild game is far more "humane" than eating livestock.

Also, the commercial production of food crops for human consumption (vegetarianism) results is just as much death as farming livestock. Planting millions of acres of Soy, Corn and Wheat results in a massive loss of wildlife.

"it has to be done" is always the excuse you hear for anything in the country. Back home they use it too to cut down trees that were perfectly fine and not harmful or potentially dangerous in any way.

To clarify my alleged hypocrisy, I'm pescetarian at home. Meaning if I'm a guest somewhere I'll eat what they serve. I guess basically I just don't buy meat, but I'll eat it if offered. It was already bought anyway so I don't feel I encourage the meat industry. It's probably weak but that's how it is. I feel I'm not gonna turn down any food I didn't have to pay for.

This is kinda new though, like earlier this year new, but really I barely ever bought meat before for years anyway because I couldn't really afford it (and I don't really eat out even fast food). And if I bought it it was the shit that's REALLY bad for you like lunch meat or wieners. So I figured I may as well give it up for all the good it was doing me.

And yes the fishing industry is not exactly nice or environmentally friendly but there's pretty much NOTHING you can do in life that isn't harmful in some way anymore. I picked my fight.

Obviously the only REAL solution to any of this is de-population. I'm doing my part by not having babies.
