a very small amount of research might/would tell you that a lot of people don't actually know they have Coeliacs' disease, therefore attributing to the seemingly low diagnosis rate.

I think it was mentioned already. Clearly this must be a conspiracy by celiac sufferers worldwide. I just think anyone who says they have gluten intolerance without actually having celiac should be slapped about for a while. That includes my mom.

i didn't say that, at all. Is it really that much of a stretch for you to consider that perhaps there is a decent number of undiagnosed people? and why do YOU care one way or the other? seems like you're trying to be contrarian here.

how about the part where i suggested it was unlikely that the gap between the size of the gluten-free food market and the number of reported coeliacs was unlikely to be entirely comprised of undiagnosed coeliacs (i suggest we refer to them as dark coeliacs henceforth) and you countered with "HEAVEN FORBID PEOPLE CHANGE THEIR DIETS IN AN EFFORT TO FEEL BETTER" which had nothing whatsoever to do with what i was saying
