american horror story sure is stupid
but i'm compelled to finish the first season just to see how it "comes together". or something
should i even bother with the other two seasons or. y'know.. trying to get into the spirit of haloween and all |

I recorded the first episode of the new season btu have yet to watch.
You have to understand..its meant to be stupid. It's like a everything and the kitchen sink kind of series. I love the first two seasons. Jessica Lange hamming it up is just too good. The third is a waste. Total waste. Its really good up until the mid season, then it's just complete bullshit like the writers had NO clue what to do with their characters. It goes nowhere. 4 or 5 episodes before the end i had stopped giving any kind of shit. I finished it but it was dreadful. |

you have to have a liking for shitty horror. This is like bad horror but written by people who know what they're doing. It's over the top ridiculous. You either like that or you don't. I approach it more as comedy.

I mean Dylan Mcdermott crying as he's jerking off in front of the window? come on. I didn't like this guy before but I have a lot more respect for him since he did that. Kinda wish he'd stuck around for the other seasons even.
