Ren and stimpy was great but i hate the whole genre of animation it created.

Also i don't like either SOAD or Elton John but this is kinda awesome and an improvement on both of the originals. They should "collaborate" more often.

What was the appeal of Ren and Stimpy again?

I really disliked this cartoon as a child. It's too nuanced for a kid to fully appreciate or understand.

Me either, man. I was more like 14, but still - what blows my mind more than the outright weirdness of the show was how FEW episodes there were. I swear, it would be one you had seen one Saturday night, then the next weekend it would be the same EXACT episode, or the one that had been on two Saturdays prior. Always was so, so frustrating. Remember there were like 4 different episodes that I had seen like 10 times each.

This is a cartoon that makes way more sense when you watch it as an adult

A re years back I saw CONVERGE and Genghis Tron opened and they played ren and skimpy scenes on projector screens through their set, including this scene and the nerve ending fairy bit. It worked great.

This is the one show my dad would watch with us. We called our cat Stimpy. RIP Stimpleskon.
