i'll be honest i get a starbucks doubleshot at the gas station sometimes and pound that

seriously. i tried maxwell house "black silk" dark roast and it was worse than starbucks french roast. didn't think that was possible. entirely different beasts though. black silk has no flavor and tastes like water. the starbucks french roast tastes like burned acid.

I mean, I was born pretty lucky according to my childhood dentist with teeth that grew in naturally straight and such with no problems

It's a logical assumption but sadly no. My mother doesn't actually have insurance either but I think she might be covered under her husband's military insurance. I however am not covered in anyway at all I don't think.

I feel like if you're gonna drink you should taste every drop of poison going down your throat. It's bracing. I will drink vodka+diet soda or redbull for the caffeine though.

And black coffee all the way. I did develop a fondness for soy lattes when I was a vegan but sadly can't have soy anymore

i like scotch with soda water but not with ice or water. everything else just shots or cocktails if they aren't too outrageous. scotch and water though is my favorite thing in the world that could drink forever and ever. i think it brings out the flavor of scotch more than you can taste when you're wincing to get it down straight or even over ice.

I like this idea but I'm afraid that if I adopted this preference, then I'd develop a taste for it, like I have with black coffee. And then it would be all to easy to become an alcoholic.

It actually is! I got a McD's coffee once because I was dying for one and there was nothing else open, it was surprisingly good.
