I will agree that you cant base someone's opinions on anything when said drunk.

I'm not saying surely he didn't really feel this way because you can't know but drunken rants is not the best way to gauge someone's personality and opinions.

mel is a talented ass director. i know why studios don't want to attach his name to stuff but i don't know why he doesn't direct smaller studio pictures instead of starring in straight-to-redbox drek

that being said i'm sure he'd be fine for Iron Man 4. he's not lacking friends honestly. Jodie Foster think he's great and Stallone hired him for the last expendables.

I thought Edge of Darkness was alright though i've been meaning to check out the series it's based on. I probably would have preferred it with anyone else in the lead though. As an actor gibson had peaked by like 1985. After that it was just your average star actor bs but I'll never be able to admit he wasn't cool (nevermind attractive) in Mad Max and Road Warrior though.

passion i thought was a pretty neat take on jeebus.. appreciate the dialogue wasn't english. didn't like the terminator ending though, should've left it more vague. apacolypto was fantastic.. he was on a roll imo
