Yeah same. I liked its unique storytelling, but I prefer the Coen brother's other films. Some of them are really underrated.

Fucking blasphemers

I think other coens movies are better, fargo and no country, but lebowski is every bit as excellent as those its simply a comedy possibly the GOAT and also doubly clever because its essentoally film noir atarring a stoner

lebowski rules. all of their movies are good in one way or another. my favorites are blood simple, raising arizona, barton fink, millers crossing, fargo, hudsucker, no country and of course lebowski, o brother was good, and even liked man who wasnt there at the time. haven't repeat watched that one. burn after reading was pretty great and i even liked the true grit re-do, though it didnt need to be remade.

I went to a horrendous laser tag/bowling thing for a colleagues birthday a while ago and the only real redeeming feature was that the walls in the toilet were covered in hundreds of Lebowski quotes for quality bathroom reading.

Maybe you should look up the meaning of "for the first time". You don't sound like you fully understand it.

I just listened to Adore for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I'd listened to it in my 30s, but it didn't really resonate with me like it does now as an old middle aged dude.

they are both very quotable movies but still both movies i never want to hear quoted in a conversation or work team meeting unless it's the fucking a stranger in the ass part or one of the few lines from pulp fiction that isn't quoted that much like "bring out the gimp!" that's my fav.

started thinking about this today for some reason.

it's a contraction with "is" after a proper noun.

"the big lebowski is hilarious"

the fat guy is hilarious -> the fat guy's hilarious.

is this correct english? personally i don't know.

is this why nobody else said anything?
