Yes..when I was a kid I had a VHS tape full of episodes of the Simpsons and this was always my favorite one. I also loved the one where Homer almost burns their house down and the one where Homer has a heart attack.

If I ever get another VCR I am hunting this tape down, as well as the one I have that is full of episodes of The Wonder Years

This bit alone puts that episode in the top 3 for me. Holy shit. Just holy, holy shit.

"Awww, we barely put a dent in that 40 foot sub."

"I'll give her a good home."

"Homer, I found this behind the radiator."

"Aww, how could I be mad at you?"

"Homer, are you eating that sandwich?"

Forget it. Perhaps my favorite Simpsons moment from the entire show, period.

King Size Homer. Love that episode.

Lisa: I think it's ironic that dad saved the day, while a slimmer man would have fallen to his death.

Bart: And I think it's ironic that, for once, dad's butt PREVENTED the release of toxic ga...

Marge: BART!

Also, the cat burglar episode.

Jimbo: I DON'T BELIEVE IN NOTHIN' NO MORE! I'M GOING TO LAW SCHOOL!

Lol this is a great thread. It's making me wanna watch some classic Simpsons again.

Every time I tune in it's the goddamned episodes from the past 10 years or so.

They really should just cancel the show already.

The one where Bart goes across the country to the Sun Sphere and Lisa stays with Homer at work.

On the plus side I knocked over the Sun Sphere.

Look Marge, you don't know what it's like - I'm the one out there every day putting his ass on the line. And I'm not out of order. You're out of order. The whole freakin' system is out of order. You want the truth? You want the truth? You can't HANDLE the truth. 'Cause when you reach over and put your hand into a pile of goo that was your best friend's face, you'll know what to do. Forget it, Marge, it's Chinatown.

The one where he and Mr. Burns are stuck on the mountain for the teamwork retreat. Fucking incredible episode.
