Yeah.. I didn't mean to minimize it. I saw a set up just like that back in 2002 during a protest in Oakland. The cops have been militarized for so many years now, I guess I'm used to seeing it. I went to a protest in sf against bush in 2004 and there were snipers up on the buildings downtown while black bloc members trashed businesses, cars and threw molotov cocktails down the street at police. Of course, that didn't get as much attention or criticism until black people do it.
