guy was asking way too much to start off with 90% of msrp (we're talking about a 3000$ synth, in production, available in store). Maybe the high asking price was just to keep away the tweakers?? So I go see the item and talk him down, we negotiate back and forth, we settle and agree on a price (78% of msrp). and then he tells me he has to call his friend cause he's only a part owner. turns out his friend wants 50$ more then what was even listed in the ad and won't budge on the price.

what a waste of time.
turns out they actually own it 4 ways, which is causing them sharing problems and why they need to sell it. had I known I wouldn't have even bothered.

i answered a roommate ad in the craigslist and this person lady gets in contact with me like a week after i msged her den i was like ay lets go to the thing and meet and she like okay and then a day before she like okay can we do this on monday and i'm like no i already have something you can't goddamn it and i'm like already looked at the apts and they are shitty and they're asking like $500 and i know also shitty shitty apts that are $600 for one guy and fuck a strangeo roommate to save 150 bucks or something ? whatever

one time i answered a roommate ad on craigslist. it was a pair of girls. we arranged over email to meet at a starbucks. gave them my number too. sat there for like an hour after the arranged meeting time at which point i got an ip-relay call from them telling me that they got into a fight and one of them got stabbed and there was blood everywhere, and therefore couldn't come to starbucks.

Our rent is $3250 a month. The landlord wanted $3423.33/month but we managed to talk him down because it's ugly and old and has no character and falling apart. We pretty much never have anything to do with each other, but when the bees came and set up shop in one of the walls we called him and he sent a guy around to kill them.
