lots of Polacks here. There are several private Polish halls (members only) in my neighborhood. Good places today to drink Old Style beer and eat Kapusta, Pierogi and Paczki.

I only knew it was Mardi Gras because my professor said something. I never know these things though... I went to the market today and saw all the chocolate bunnies but like wtf is Easter when you don't live near your family? Anyway, as a kid I didn't care for doughnuts so I guess this paczki wouldn't do much for me anyway. Gimme marron chaud and vin chaud <3 and that gets me through winter.
