Has anyone finished season 2 of House of Cards (spoilers)

Just finished the final episode. This show does not waste anytime. There's no way this show will be able to go on for more than 4 or 5 seasons but they are going to be some of the best 4 or 5 seasons a show has ever had.

Is Jackie the likely candidate to take the VP spot? I'm guessing next season the police will figure out that Rachel killed Doug and that will cause Frank to have to take her out so she doesn't expose Frank's connection to him offing the congressman in season 1.

I just finished season one. I started off thinking 'this shit is boring' before my first 'oh holy shit he's trying to ___' moment. There were a few of those before I resigned myself to let the damn thing play out.

second season was good but a couple of things felt stupid towards the end. The Whole president figures it out, but frank types him a letter going all no bro really we're cool, but heres my confession if you dont believe me and then the Pres falls for it. The SOS and Jackie seemed a bit too easy in going along with the plan-Jackie had already told Remy she wouldnt be manipulated even if it cost her re-election, but Frank tells her she might lose her majority and she just goes for it like nothing.

But mostly Rachel killing Doug. She might be able to hit him once and have him not realize her intentions. But even after the second hit he's like What are you doing? and doesnt defend himself against the third hit? wtf?

I think with the doug hits he was just concussed and out of it at that point.

it is wonderfully campy. i don't know if people like banana get that though.

i love robin wright. she's perfect.

the show stopped making sense long ago but it really kind of pushed it in the second half of the season. but i watch it for the scenery chewing camp and not realism so i'm alright with it. really fun to watch, which ultimately is the most important aspect of tv.
