I can't believe I went to the movies to see an inconvenient truth. I was so bored but I still sat there like it was important.

current tv was also surprisingly cool when it was user generated content with a few documentaries thrown in. i don't know why it turned into a political talk show channel

Sandra Day O'Connor agrees with you, recently stating she regrets the role the Supremes took in the 2000 election.

my favorite group out there is the one that wants to claim the 2000 election as fraud, ceremonially put Al Gore in as Prez, roll back a bunch of unconstitutional laws the criminals in D.C. have put in since then, and put in some transitional government until new elections could be had.

CBO nearly triples estimate of working hours lost by 2021 due to Affordable Care Act

A historically high number of people will be locked out of the workforce by 2021, according to a report by the Congressional Budget Office released Tuesday.

President Barack Obama's signature health-care law will contribute to this phenomenon, the CBO said, citing new estimates that the Affordable Care Act will cause a larger-than-expected reduction in working hours—eliminating the equivalent of about 2.3 million workers in 2021.

assumption...all they did here was triple their initial estimate.

I'm sure when the time comes the actual numbers will be much worse.

the IRS scandal is such a non issue.

The Tea Party borrows their name from a tax protest. So they were audited. And it was found they were cheating on their taxes. So who gives a shit.

the best part is that they were cheating on their taxes

how dare you target someone you found guilty, how did you ever suspect them

So basically he complains about losing his hours due to the health care law and Obama's like, well if you work full time...

There's so many issues here though. At his age, he should be thinking about retiring. I know I will be working until I'm so old I forget who I am. No retiring here.

Raising the minimum wage might help at first, but what happens when companies respond by saying they can't pay that much and stay in business. Also.. raising minimum wage may cause other things to eventually go up, rent, groceries, etc.
