i think both kaperbro and russel wilson are profoundly over-rated, kaperbro proved it tonight, just wait till feb. for russell to make a big shit in his pants

during the broadcast they had this montage of like otto graham and johnny unitas and marino and elway and aikman and wank wank wank until we got to KAPERNICK AND WILSON and i'm like for real you must be on drugs

Yeeeeeeah fuck Kaeperbro. I'm not sure if it's the flat-rimmed hat, or the chinstrap, or the tribal tattoos, but I absolutely goddam hate that guy.

Anyway, Stillurs keep their monopoly on Duperbol wings so I'm happy. Both of today's games went my way.

He didn't play well but don't underplay the Seahawks defense. I expect the Denver WR to struggle against that secondary. They have never played anything like that Seahawks defense in Denver during the Manning era. Plus it will be cold during that Super Bowl.

he hasn't played well for 3/4 of the season, not just basing the overrated tag on that one game

He's played well come playoff time and that's what I care about the most. Last night he had to pretty much do everything himself that game on offense. Made some mistakes but he is only in his 2nd season of starting and not even a 2nd full season. To go to the Super Bowl one season and then within a game winning drive in the NFC Championship game as a wild card to do it again is impressive. Super talented team around him but he can turn it on in the post season.

yeah that's why he threw 2 picks in a conference playoff game. i'm sorry man but that isn't "turning it on". granted he rushed for 130 yards, but i'd rather a QB who has more influence in the aerial game.

peyton manning - 32/43, 400 yards. THAT is turning it on during the playoffs.

Playing an absolute shit defense filled with backups galore. Kaep was going against the 2nd best defense in the league in the hardest stadium to play with some weak weapons who weren't helping him out at all outside of Boldin.

Yeah, any sort of legitimate defense would have gotten SOME pressure on the QB at ANY point during a playoff game. Never happened.

who gives a fuck? job still has to be done. i FUCKING GUARANTEE you Kaepernick would not have tossed 32/43 for 400 in the same game.

because here's the difference, you see

a great QB, even a very good QB, will pick his shit up no matter which defense he comes up against. why do i have to speak like i am addressing a child here

So he's not the equivalent of the best QB to ever play. Must mean he sucks.

Tbh you seem a bit childish here. Or maybe just unfamiliar with the NFL.

Kaepernick's playoff success, notwithstanding some egregious mistakes last weekend, is pretty close to unparalleled.

One and a half seasons. One Super Bowl appearance and one NFC championship appearance.

Who else has done that?

Yeah but he'd probably be able to put up 200+ pass yards and a 100+ rush yards with some touchdowns thrown in there. Also Manning wouldn't be going 23/43 for 400 yards vs the Panthers or Seahawks defense. I'm expecting 250-300 passing yards, 1-2 touchdowns and 1-2 interceptions from Manning in the Super Bowl.

to be honest you can fuck right off

i've watched the boy ALL THROUGHOUT the regular season. the whole goddamned season, and i dont even support SF. if that's unfamiliar with the NFL then i am a childish bastard.

stop talking like Kaepernick is stuck playing behind a bunch of dunces. 164 yards against the likes of Jacksonville, i'm sure you were all over his piece during the mid-season
