Embarrassing losses: Bengals, Steelers, Bucs, Ravens. Those are mid/low tier teams. I think that Rodger-less GB win inflated their sense of worth.

I feel like legally the nfl should only continue to exist if each and every fan who continues to support it agrees to receive one concussion per season as penalty for supporting a bloodsport that leaves its players with brain damage

You kidding me? I knew this team wasn't good from the get-go. If it was, they'd be running away with their godawful division (with the Vikings sucking and both the Bears and Packers starting QBs suffering major injuries, this was the season for the Lions to take it to the next level. And they just choked it away). There is only one premium player on this team: Calvin Johnson. Stafford is overrated, Suh is a penalty/suspension waiting to happen, and everyone else ranges from okay to awful. Undisciplined, inconsistent mess. I for one will not be sorry to see Jim Schwartz, Gunther Cunningham and Scott Linehan gone after this season.
