it's like 4 bucks for a tiny amount of crackers, 2 pieces of cheese, and a slice of bologna

i remember being jealous of the kids with the pizza lunchables

two thoughts on that

1. why? they look fucking disgusting.
2. why didn't i think to ask for one? i did have the occasional other kind of lunchable. the pizza ones just seemed out of reach.

what was appetizing about this to eight-year-old eulogy?

(although i would have then and would still now eat pepperoni or pepperoni-like substances in any context. maybe that was all it was.)

i figure as a child you probably thought they were going to taste like pizza instead of a matzo cracker with some tomato paste on it

because like reprise said sometimes you're in a pinch for time or don't have access to a kitchen because you're out and you just need a little snack that you hadn't planned for. these scenarios all entail leaving the house for extended periods of time unfortunately.

once in fifth grade i asked my mom if she could get me and my sister lunchables and she said, "no, they're for lazy parents."

soon afterward a girl brought her lunchable out in the cafeteria and i said "my mom says those are for lazy parents."

all the girls at the table gave me the death stare.

fifth grade was the year i was the new kid in town. needless to say, i didn't have any friends until seventh grade.
