holy shit that's not what i'm saying at all. the fact that more athletes receive more attention is fucked up, and is inconsistent with the real, actual purpose of any university.

well, not necessarily. the time commitment required of a D1 athlete, even in a non-revenue sport, is massive. that's why they get the attention.

oh come on. you're saying that thinking of college athletics as anything other than evil is wrong. i don't think i'm insane for taking another angle.

and remember i think they need to be compensated.

ah i guess that is a rule. w/e man. i don't hate college athletics.

...and that's 20 hours/week more than a non-athlete. so again, offering tutors doesn't seem too egregious.

by the way a knockout tournament with 4 teams is laughably inadequate for determining a true victor,no matter what the sport is.

obviously for you, don't try to be funny.

technically you can't get a degree in football, but the sport can pay off for those so inclined to stick with it.

Yes sticking with it is the only prerequisite for being a financially successful football player.

You made no distinction with your comment about a degree in Football. There are a ton of jobs associated with the game and all I'm saying is if one wants to be involved with it after their playing days, they can and can make a living at it. Hence, the 'fraternity' of football is there to make those connections.
