Man what a shit show that'll be. No offense. At least I get a week-long break from the amateur hour that has become Steelers 2013.

I'll be absolutely disgusted if we lose to the Giants but not shocked. Our defense is horrendous so I'm fully expecting that Giants offense to show life despite having no oline to speak of.

Well.... These don't have the official NFL hologram...

And, there's no such team as the "Spungos."

And these seem to be printed on some sort of Graham Cracker.

giants should have been put away by now. had to listen to most of the first half on the radio but the last three drives by the bears were full of wasted opportunities.

Hey Cutler's having a decent season though. And I would be mad about how this season has been for the Steelers, but the fact that the Browns aren't totally blowing the season and the Ravens are getting salary trolled like fucking CRAZY by Flacco right now makes it all okay.

I ain't even mad tho.

Fucking Flacco has a lower qbr than Terelle Pryor ffs.

He regressed to his mean level of play and he's basically getting a million dollars per interception. I'm okay with that.

The only thing that kills my enjoyment of this all is the fact that they are going to land Clowney and have him and JPP as their ends for the next decade.

The Spungos had a good run. That triumph over the Patriots was one of the best Super Bowls of all time. OF ALL TIME. What the heck happened this season? I haven't followed them closely aside from their blunders popping up on Red Zone and fighting the Steelers, Jags, and Buccs for the number 1 draft pick.

But yeah, Cutler has a knack for suddenly becoming the bumbling lazy oaf he looks like. His wife though... fuck...

both giants v. pats supabowls were classics of american foobaww

what happened? Complete and total disintegration of the backfield, no real investment in the secondary or even the linebacking corps. Giants basically build their D through the d-line and have for over a decade now it feels like, but they've over committed to that front and their secondary is now just embarrassing and the offensive backfield is even worse

when you have a guy like eli who is an idiot savant and capable of both glorious zeniths and hilarious nadirs sometimes within the same offensive series, you need a strong defense to help keep a lid on his inevitable turnovers, and you also need at least a decent ground game to anchor the offense and keep eli from having to throw 50-60 times a game.

The times we won the super bowl we had the thunder and lightning tandem of Jacobs/Bradshaw and then some very solid and consistent play by bradshaw as the main back for the last run. Also, that first SB win was the Strahan defense which was the last time the giants had a consistently excellent defensive unit, it's been degrading slowly over the past few years to arrive at this embarassment.

like i said, i can take comfort that at least the giants aren't the worst team in the entire league. I haven't seen a team in any sport worse than the Jaguars since the 11/12 Charlotte Bobcats.

Well there's the Astros but they play AAA now, right?

God, fuck baseball. I bandwagoned the Buccos for about a week and a half for the first time in my life, and that was enough boredom to satisfy me for another two decades.

Well that certainly explains Nick Foles's success in the fourth quarter against them... Hopefully Eli develops some fucking consistency. Sometimes I can't believe that kid has rings on his fingers. But at least he isn't asking for Flacco bucks.
