a few years ago i would have liked that. thats style is something i previously really enjoyed. kinda of a borderless broad colouring scheme. it would still work were it not for the same style being butchered so much in recent history

i think bold, neonish colours are so fucking hot right now. complemantary colours and super contrasty images are looking really great. those new nike shoes that do this are fantastic, i love them. i saw 1 pair of this idea about a year ago and didnt care for it much but now its fantastic. more proof that nike hires some of the best art and advertising talent in the world.

although you used neons, thats a gradiant, im talking about solid, simple bold colours. even in the art world (seperate from the design world) ive been seeing this alot. another trend ive been seeing which is on this same line, is overlapping sketchy images and colours. this too ive seen around alot and actually really enjoy. im counting may days before the idiots latch onto this and ruin it. till then, heres the cover of the new prefuse 73, which i think is super

hey, way to take some one's fucking around way to seriously (i assume since he said it sucks himself). i don't particularly care for it, but it's better than i can do.

in case you didn't know surface to air did the prefuse cover they're one of the "hip" design collectives right now. it is a very pretty cover. not to mention great cd.

hey, what do you expect with all the money they save with sweatshop labor. it's great people in foriegn lands work their ass off for jack shit. while some dumb ass get's paid way to much to come up with the newest colorway of the oh so popular nike dunks (that now cost probably twice as much as when they were originally released). heaven forbid the richest shoe company in the world employ people in the u.s., stimulate the economy, and pay decent wages. but hey whatever looks cool right. fuck nike, and doubly fuck phil knight.

p.s. when i was about thirteen i wanted to work for this company more than anything. seriously.
