The NTSB officially apologized. I almost thought they would deny they had anything to do with it, because maybe they didn't, but they admit today it was a summer intern who overreached their authority.

ya right. They just discredited the one local station doing some decent reporting on the crash and how do you think this looks to the rest of the world, that an official department would make up such racist jokes for a t.v. newscast.

some serious shenanigans here.

Racist jokes, huh? Ho Lee Fuk is offending the guy who's referring to a female journalist as dude, because short hair, and throws "Jewish cabal" into every other sentence. How politically correct of you.

Actually it is highly probable the station didn't confirm their "source" and their staff is too inept to catch the error. Happens every day.

It's just another brick in the wall of arrogance they view of us with. And why wouldn't they? This got picked up in Asia and its just not a good look it came from an official department.

There is no "us" in this case. A lazy TV station got pranked by a single person - with hilarious phonetic skills. End of story.

Technically it wasn't an error, in the sense whoever at Channel 2 went with the names given, they did so because it came from an official department.

So give me some idea of how a summer intern pulls this off? Who called who for the bogus names would be a good start. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought D.C. internships are prized gigs filled with career minded social service types who you wouldn't think would risk their prospective career with such a gag.

or whatever...nothing to see here, move along.

Pilot error and college pranks from silly Washington interns. good enough cover if something is amiss here.

False flag, staged, cover up!

In reality WI TU LO was a secret code, to alert the asian spy agency that they got busted.

Nobody gives a shit about Austria. U.S. goofs like this, it gets called out on the racism.

You see, we think its a big joke. The play on the names. We laugh, but the Koreans aren't.

If you haven't noticed, there are some other issues regarding racism in the US, which actually DO get global attention.

Really easy, a young inexperienced desk producer at the tv station was seeking a scoop and emailed NTSB. Intern checking email responds.

I worked in newsrooms for 10 years, now work in relation to some government agencies. This same thing has happened many times, I've seen it first hand, and it'll only get worse as media tries to break news before anyone else.

Korea should focus on their pilots not crashing planes, not some dumbass kid inAmerica tricking a TV station.

Delta helped Korea Air, not long ago the worst airline on earth basically. Maybe United to help Asiana.

I'm straight on topic. Besides, this is just getting interesting now that the government issued an official apology when I almost figured they couldn't have had anything to do with it. The 'prank' could be just that, an intern fucking around, but I'm skeptical. that's all.

btw, do you have an answer as to why the Army were first responders and not the local Fire department, who took over 30 minutes to get on scene? Or why the FBI interviewed all the passengers before they were allowed to leave whether they were injured or not?

I'm fine with things not adding up, but the prank is an interesting twist.

KTVU anchor Tori Campbell later came back in the same newscast and told viewers the names "were not accurate despite an NTSB official in Washington confirming them late this morning."

Should we take her word for it? An NTSB official? An intern can't qualify as that of course, but they could front themselves as one.

Quote:
It was unclear how KTVU obtained the list of names before reaching out to the NTSB for confirmation. The general manager and the news director at the station did not return emails seeking comment.

that's one question I would be asking. At least Huffpo is trying. How bout the name of the intern and just for kicks, his line about how he was an official and all. Would love to hear the specifics of the punked script.

Fair enough.

Plausible if not likely.

But the anchor mentions an official. If the process is as you say, emails between lackeys, not phone calls between higher ups, it makes a bit more sense.

You are always so spot on, it's almost scary.

Just read that some of the Sandy Hook kids - you know the ones you said never died - were spotted in Rome, apparently the newest addition of fresh blood for the Vatican porn club. I wonder if they're sending their parents (the real ones, not the actors they showed on TV) postcards

The notion kids didn't die in Sandy Hook is almost too extreme for me. I'm inclined to think they were shot up, just not by Lanza, but at that, not a single piece of forensic evidence was ever produced that anybody died there. If you remember, the whole scene was sequestered and the parents had round the clock police security to keep media from interviewing them.

haven't heard anything about some of them being spotted in Rome. strange, like everything re: Sandy Hook. I think its plausible some of those families were in on the set up of the hoax for years. The media blitz some of them went on afterwards, always with the intent of promoting gun control, just seems so contrived and scripted.

as far as flight 214 goes...

impossible to determine if this was some type of terrorist/government action. because of that and the high interest in this story is largely local now, its not worth the time to figure out if Sum Ting Wong with the narrative.

then Channel 2 gets punked by the NTSB, and we're told its a summer intern having a laugh. Ho Li Fuk!!!

Sum Ting Wong alright...I'll never satisfy my curiosity to this crash, but I'll always wonder if it wasn't Electronically Hijacked remotely and fucked with in that manner. The Feds being first on scene is awfully curious and the NTSB having to apologize officially is another red flag.
