It took me so long to try to figure out what the fuck this thread was about. And then I scrolled up.

And I don't like either of those names. I associate Bowie with David Bowie and Stoli with Italian people. But names don't matter to me. My cat's name's Zelda but everyone just calls her Kitty. Or maybe you can try Monica.

cats do learn the names. but that doesn't mean they will always come when you call them. half of the time when you call their name they just look at me with a nonchalant "what do you want" look.

dogs seriously don't even compare. cats are independent. they're quiet. they don't piss all over the god damn place (if you fix them). they're interesting to watch because they don't always come up to you and lick you all over the god damn face.

Being englightened and then not being able to have a cat is horrible.
There are allergy medicines that supposedly work for pet dander, if you want a cat really bad, you should look into one.

i should, i guess. but that's really a lot of money to spend on medication hat i'll have to buy for as long as I have a cat.

allergies have a tendency to fade away. my mom had a fatal allergy to shellfish which just...went away and now she eats all the shrimp and crabs legs that she wants. i have no idea if it's he same thing with pet dander.
