thanks. so it bills you by month but you can buy gift cards and pay with those instead of paying directly? why are there different amounts then? do they calculate the cost by day or something?

i think i'm going to go with VM or that $19/mo one

yeah you can pay with the cards or set up autopay with a CC. Not sure why there are so many different amounts, but some are topup-broadband cards, not sure if the broadband cards work for just cell services. never tried it.

also you have no say in picking the phone #, even if you pay to have someone help you, from what i was told.

edit: not sure what your thinking on phones is but the next highest one is HTC One V, just got it this past week. bigger screen, faster processor, $200. Stay away from the HTC EVO 4G, they have problems and its hit or miss on getting it working.
on black friday best buy has the optimus elite for $50 new. and radio shack has the HTC One V for $100. think i'm going to get one of em

What's wrong with the evo 4g? I had that phone for about a year, the only problem was with a forced update that was later resolved

on virgin? from what i read, and my sis who had the phone, some have signal issues- texts not going through, showing full signal but not being able to do anything. not all of them, but for the price and my needs I didnt think it was worth the potential hassle.

Amazon does price adjustments if you ask. They did one for me when the kindle I just bought went on sale.

i wanted to upgrade to the 1200 minute plan and restart my month early because i was low on minutes and i couldn't find a way to do both, so i emailed them. they said they changed it and restarted my month, and i saw that they did but i didn't get charged.

so i emailed them to tell them they didnt charge me and they told me they gave me a $45 credit for the hassle of having to email them. which took me like 2 minutes and didnt feel like a hassle. not complaining. everything is perfect with them so far and the money will go to Boris "Netphoria" Paige

Too bad Virgin mobile coverage sucks compared to any GSM carrier. Straight Talk is a much better deal.
