so i finally listened to the original song and it's not nearly as bad as i thought it was, the beat is completely funky as shit but man it's just so amazing when he rhymes motherfucker with motherfucker not once but twice.

i mean it's not good, it's pretty poor rap when you dig into the lyrics. lots of repetition and not really anything resembling great wit or clever turns of phrase.
I'm pretty sure Lonely Island are better rappers than Macklemore and that should tell you something ryan lewis did put down a pretty dope beat though gotta give credit where it is due |
