They're the things killed by the dozen in the maxx. They might have had their own show, i dunno. I sure do love The Maxx comics though.

these are the little guys that are able to slip in and out of the dreamtime (outback) and reality. pretty sure they represent emotions or other psychic afflictions which is why they hunt maxx.
