indescribably horrific experience the other night

So I was down at Healey's at Queen + Bathurst (Toronto) watching my cousin's band play at this open-mic night. I had one beer. When they were done, about 20 minutes later, we all went outside and smoked a joint. I had like 3 or 4 tokes.
About 20 minutes later, I was screaming my fucking head off and thrashing about wildly right in the middle of Queen Street. I felt exactly like I was in nightmare after nightmare and I was just not waking up. Everything felt like concrete - like, when I grabbed my shirt it felt like I was crushing it into rocks. I was sort of travelling down in a spiral through my entire subconscious. Every thought that I had, and everything that I saw or heard triggered another thought automatically. It was like, everything I had ever thought about in my entire life was coming back to me one after another. Then I was 100% certain that I was dead, and that this was my personal hell - that I would be forever in a nightmare that I couldn't wake up from. Seriously, I can't even explain how horrifying it was.
Plus I cut myself all over, and chipped my tooth from trying to eat the pavement, and bruised my wrists from trying to pull apart the handcuffs, and ruined a brand new pair of jeans.

So yeah, that weed was obviously laced with something. The doctor said that the combination of alcohol + marijuana would be more likely to make you faint, not freak out like that. Either way, I think I'll stay away from the stuff for quite a while.

I don't know, I needed to share. I don't post here anymore, and this seemed like good material. Whatever.

um, yeah. I've done that about 3 times and those results were not good. Puking usually ensues.

I had a very similar experience a number of years ago. It was after a friend's bachelor party, and myself and 3 others went to a bar that was 2 blocks or so from my old place to shoot some pool. We had just ordered our drinks and stepped out back for a smoke. There was a guy back there rolling a joint with his buddy and asked if we wanted some. He hit it first and eventually it got passed around. We didn't smoke very much, but by the time my cigarette was done, I couldn't feel my legs. I couldn't think straight and everything got hazy and wavy and sounds came to me as if in a tunnel. The other 3 could also barely stand or walk, but I had the presense of mind to suggest we leave right away and not even go back into the bar where we'd only had a sip or two of our drinks and were waiting to play pool. We left, went back to my place, and a cop followed us the whole way. We did get back safely, and I told them I was going to my room to take a leak and I would be right back. I satdown on my bed to take off my shoes, and I woke up the next morning with one shoe off and the rest of my clothes on including my jacket and hat.

It was also obviously laced, and the suspicion is angel dust. What I learned is, don't take smoke from strangers.

true. the one time i've done that is the one time i've puked while drinking. I hadn't thrown up in 12 years before a few weeks ago.

i can smoke before i drink but i cannot drink before i smoke, if that makes sense. it's an easier transition to go from high to drunk than from drunk to high. if i try to smoke after i'm drunk, i'll get a headache and want to curl up and sleep. i prefer doing one OR the other.

Then i had crystal meth laced weed and i stood in front of the u-scan at kroger for about an hour trying to figure out how it worked.

PCP is so freaking scary sounding. I did a little assignment on it in health class-we got to pick which drug to study. I'm sorry that happened to you dude. The whole idea-triggering domino effect thing sounds insane.

My friend drinks while smoking on occasion, but i don't think he gets drunk. apparently just a few beers makes it better or something :erm

Interesting this subject came up. I've just researched salvia divinorum. They have a small bottle they sell which a couple drops in weed might bring on some exotic effects. I'm going to try it and see if I feel good or join the Peace Corps. The plant is used by Native Americans and Mayans and is currently being heavily researched for medicinal purposes. Today it is legal...tomorrow who knows.

i honestly thought that in "my current state of ultimate concentration" that i could walk through walls.
but i was stoned when i smoked it and didn't feel like getting up to try.

I've only tried weed a few times in my life, but my first experience was so horrible, I didn't even let myself be AROUND it for 4 years. Friend of mine got some weed from a friend of hers, and we smoked it. I didnt even that much, definately not even 1/2 of the joint. After that, I felt like I was literally stuck INSIDE the floor and couldn't get up. I remember crying a lot, thinking I was going to die. When I managed to actually get up, I felt like I was dragging cement on my feet they were so heavy, then I was certain that I actually was dead, and I wanted to jump off the 3rd floor balcony (to prove it, i guess). Thankfully, my feet felt too heavy to get them high enough to get over the railing. I did fall down in my attemps to jump though- and I was stuck in/on the floor again. I managed to crawl down her stairs and when I woke up on the stairs, I'd eaten an entire loaf of bread (heel to heel) and I felt like shit.

Anyone have any idea what *that* was laced with? heh.

my roommates had some bomb ass weed and we smoked 2 joints and some pipe tokes, then watched Romeo and Juliet (1996) and man, it was my best weed trip EVER. my thoughts were as clear as glass, i had song ideas -- like melodies, ect(i don't even play any instruments), i reminisced about childhood, came up with all sorts of crazy ideas, thought about what the lives of the characters in the movie were before and after they were filmed, ect AND payed full attention to the movie.

it was great. i hope i have another experience like that. if everyone's high was like that every time, i think everyone would smoke weed. i was happy, giddy even, and completely content. i was actually afraid it was laced with heroin (admittedly, i don't know what it feels like to be on heroin, but nonetheless) or SOMETHING. it was great.

salvia - i had a horrible experience on that and i've heard of lots of people who've had similarly horrible experiences. but then, i've heard of a few (less) people who've had mind-altering great experiences on it. it's a lot like acid in that your surroundings and environment are VERY important in how you'll be affected.
