manager calls maid-type person, who pulls mattress from bedframe, sprays it thoroughly with a can of raid

replaces mattress.

yeah that's a non starter clause, uh, i'd see a lawyer? maybe? that really doesn't sound like a very good practice since one apt with bed bugs will lead to all apartments with bed bugs

these things are the worst btw, i had them once

man, fuck bedbugs. they're evil. they ruin your life.

i've had to deal with them here at work for months....people bring them in on their bags. a lot of times people won't say that they got bit or they just think its mosquitoes so we don't know there's a problem until it's out of control. but it's all good now. new beds new mattresses, linens, etc. that was a nightmare.

wash everything in super hot water if you can't afford to throw it out. vacuum your mattress really well if you can't throw it out, spray, repeat, then leave it in the sun as long as you can. inspect EVERYTHING. including the walls.

i've never had bed bugs but i would get torn up by chiggers in texas when i would visit my aunt and uncle's property in the country in the summer! yow.
