Basically he's either innocent and really good at manipulation or guilty and really good at manipulation. That he got all of those celebrities and etc for his cause speaks that Echols has a lot of charm and influence, even from jail. That doesn't make him guilty, though. He does seem disturbed based on his case files (I only read maybe a 1/4 of it, using the index) but that also doesn't mean he murdered three little boys.

It seems more obvious that whoever did it, it wasn't some kind of satanic sacrifice. It also seems obvious that he got pegged for it before there was any evidence he did anything. Which doesn't mean he didn't do it, either.

From the little I know about the MMPI, his scores seem to indicate conduct disturbance most likely related to complex PTSD/his traumatic home life. He also seems that he was or is probably Bipolar based on evidence such as staying up for days, manic euphoria and ideas of reference reported during the trial, depression w/ many symptoms, suicide attempts, impulsivity, grandiose delusions. I mean seems pretty clear cut to me... I need to go back to school.

Yeah.. there was some satanic panic going on and they were fast to pin it on him. I was reading through part of his step dad's description of growing up in the house where they had no water, and Damien suffered with physical illnesses before the mental illnesses presented. His constant exposure to pesticides and chemicals is something else I'm sure they didn't bother investigating. I'm not saying that's the cause of his mental illness but this exposure in close proximity is enough to cause problems depending on the person. Then you compile all of that with the stress of his living/family situation... He was probably already bi polar and (possibly) the situation was like throwing gas on a fire.

I like amazon because it has most all of the shows I watch. I signed up for prime a year ago and I've saved a lot since I got rid of dtv. For baseball I'm going to get mlb for a few months then cancel when the season is over.
