i think i read its a secret where this will take place on the timeline? it'd be tripped out if they fast forwarded to 1970 or something. i'm not counting on it though

i wasn't really feeling last season like i did the first four.. but it was good nuff. it set up alot of directions the last two seasons can go in

If you want an Elizabeth Moss fix, she's staring in the miniseries "Top of the Lake". It's is airing right now on the Sundance Channel. It's a little like "The Killing" except set in New Zeeland.

Is mad men worth watching? Or is it like a serious rendition of the fry and laurie bit

I couldn't get through the first season. Not because it was bad but there was nothing that made me want to keep watching.

Favorite line was bobby yelling that Betty looked ugly and he hated the change of hair color before storming out of the kitchen. So random I was laughing out loud.

show seems to have a different feel now. seemed like an extention of season 5 with the bang you over the head symbolism and weird interjections like betty going all rapey. guess it has to do with the late 60s and the nation having an existential crisis. either way i liked the premier.. though the step daughter stuff was kind of random

my biggest gripe is its the late 60s and don still slathers his hair in pomade

its definitely a slow burn. i recommend trying to get to the episodes dealing with the korean war flashbacks if you haven't yet. that's when things really clicked with me
