Default we're currently taking care of a blind and deaf miniature pischer

his owner (our friend's grandmother) kicked the bucket a couple weeks ago, and we're providing a temporary home until our friend moves into a place that allows pets.

dogs and their general neediness trigger panic attacks for me, but our friends were in a desperate situation so we offered to help.

im going crazy.

Can you even train a deafblind dog? You can hardly let it read your lips.

we're not opposed to it. but it's possible to do it to the wrong dog. it's generally not a good idea for a dog with separation anxiety.

Depends on lifestyle. I love dogs, but am not home enough to have one. Cats (the good ones) are more awesome because they have more personality IMO.

John, good on you for this endeavor.
