the odds were against me getting the gameboy player today.

so they call me today to pick up the gameboy player. I trot my ass down to go get it ( I didn't pre-order it at the one around the corner, oddly enough i pre-ordered it at another ). When i get there the guy tells me its sold-out and I'd have to wait till tomorrow. i was sorely pissed, but didn't hassle the guy. I just told him that they called me to pick it up saying it was available, then he went on saying nintendo is dumb about their shipments yada yada. I can understand that, fine--but WHY CALL ME TO PICK IT UP WHEN YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE IT?

i ended up putting the credit towards and GBA game (metroid fusion

) and told him i'll just get it elsewhere. Needless to say i went to target to see if they would have it out. Their paper said tomorrow, but i thought maybe they'd have it. they did.

As i was walking out, the power went out. Good thing i didn't take long to get there, or i wouldn't have got it.

its pretty awesome by the way. *plays metroid fusion on the big screen*

Congrats!!! Bestbuy didn't advertise it in the paper, but i wonder if they will have it? They tend to be dicks sometimes. Good luck on Metroid and me being a complete loser, I managed to pass that game with 1%.

Well we got only the exact amount that were pre-ordered with no extras. Of course that still doesn't explain why they would call you if they didn't have enough. Some of our stores are definitely run by idiots.
