Default cooking on the job when you work at a school

I can't be the only one who finds this funny. A couple years ago at my job there was a guy who handled attendance. He eventually was also given the responsibility of being in the main office (answering phones, answering intercom calls, etc.) But before that he seemed to have a lot of spare time on his hands. This gave him a chance to cook at work. The classroom that I happened to work in had a kitchen in it. (Don't ask my why.) And he took full advantage of that basically setting up shop in my class. The cabinets were full of ingredients. The fridge always had his meals in there. He told me that he cooked for himself and friends and even his fraternity gatherings but also that he was seriously considering starting a catering business.
There were times he would even cook during instruction time.

That's kind of inconsiderate to the kids.

He made breakfast stuff like hashed browns, sausage, eggs. He also made chicken, ribs, french fries, and seafood.
