Funny how I forget sometimes and try to go to Netphoria from somebody else's computer... then when greeted with 3,145 ads that I typically don't see, I remember why I only go to Netphoria on my computer with AdBlock. :P

modding this phone is a bit tricky. I did it to my optimusV so gave this one a try. i actually sort of bricked this one once trying to install a rom, but thats more work than just rooting it. i could link you to some stuff if you want.

Heres what I ultimately used to root it. Its also what I used that almost bricked it. (I was messing around with the kernels, not rooting). http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1676686

the rooting with that was pretty straight forward but read up on stuff (like whats primoU and primoC) and if something goes wrong you're best off asking someone on there for help. i wouldnt recommend doing anything else if you've never done it.

But in all seriousness I've been browsing on my phone only for about two years or so now. Only infrequently do I have issues here and it is mostly bot related. My phone has actually crashed and needed a hard reset from loading bot images. But for a bit about five months ago i kept getting rerouted to other sites and if i hit the back button it would reload the page i was originally trying to navigate away from effectively keeping me from reading threads. I downloaded the firefox browser but was unimpressed with the interface. Like, you couldn't double-tap zoom for example and it only made the site reroutes less frequent. So it was kind of useless

I had a touchpad and got android running on it. I liked it but it was always crashing so I sold it and went for this.
