where is all the gore?! i've not read the book, but tim has. that's the kind of movie that's only cool to watch in the theaters what with all the explosions and action.

That bad sea of zombies effect gets old in the two minute trailer. Imagine that for another two hours.

The trailer looks bad. What made the book entertaining in the first place is that it's a collection of stories from people with different perspectives and at different locations during all phases of the war. I'm not saying the book is a great of American literature but it did make for a highly entertaining popcorn read. Looks like they've scrapped this formula and instead or going for the "one gay saves the world!" school of filmmaking.

Oh come one no one has ever made a movie that's starts with some government guy stuck in traffic with his family as some massive world crisis starts.

This movie looks highly original.

I remember when they shot some of this in Glasgow (the first 1.5 mins or so of the trailer are set around George Square) - and the media circus which followed AJ and BP around.
