diablo cody... could be pretty bad too. her name does not ring awesomeness. almost every promising movie in the last decade has been a letdown in one way or another. it doesnt looky campy either. also this is another reason to bring up the generic complaint that everything is being remade and hollywood reallly has run out of ideas. its sad when raimi and campbell are on board for stuff like this. im sure its for a paycheck.

/end complaining.

hope there's lots of tits, ass and blood barfing.

i mean i guess fear and excitement create similar physiologic responses in your body so it's probably related to that but it just doesn't work that way for me

suspension of disbelief is the best part of a good sicko movie too, if its done right. depravity! give me some more! torture porn movies like martyrs give me warm feelings. so does good porn.

gasper noe is one of my favorite living directors that makes fucked up movies. enter the void makes me feel like im hallucinating and experiencing death. seeing monica bellucci getting raped in irreversible was a lot like watching bjork being the beat up retard for 2 hours in dancer in the dark. lars von trier is great at making people feel horrible too. it makes me feel horrible yet very empathetic to the situations. angry, furious, hurt and hopeless. i really get off on feeling that level of sadness and bleak suicidal hope. i hope my death is as visually amazing as some of these movies make death and torment look. legendary suffering!

but real suicidality is not glamorous you know

am i being too serious

i mean i dont need movies to make me feel hurt and hopeless in a non-intellectual way, i have that in real life, why do i want a movie to make me feel bad on that kind of level

it's one thing if it's some kind of mindfuck thing but if it's just i want to die torture of some kind or another like damn ive had enough of that u know?

it lets me know that the torment in my brain can be expressed as a tangible thing people will go out and pay to watch on a screen. suicidal and homicidal thoughts can be expressed without actually doing it and released through the art of fine cinema. ive been diagnosed with ptsd too, but listening to marilyn manson and watching texas chainsaw massacre actually helps clear my head so i can sleep and have non-realistic psychedelic nightmares instead of hypereealistic ones.

dancer in the dark is an abusive, tormenting movie. what isnt horrific about a musical retard beating festival? antichrist, breaking the waves... real horror.

maybe youre myopic and need to open your god damn mind.
