Default Been playing Hole songs...

I sometimes entertain myself by playing the guitar, and for whatever reason tried to pick up a few Hole songs. I realized I cannot to justice to Love's singing. I guess nobody ever says she *can't* sing, but I just failed to realize how that wench can wail! My favorite to play is Northern Star, but I get to the last verse and my voice just fails me.

It's really one of 2 or 3 Hole songs I can stand any more. Just checked the wiki - interestingly enough, not one that BC wrote. (but, he did write the two biggest singles on there - the title track and Malibu, both of which I dig still.)

yeah, his influence is dripping all over the entire record. i like northern star a lot and also playing your song which corgan also didn't write. dying is a pretty great corgan song. not a huge fan of the other corgan songs on there, but they are well written.

Dying was one of my favourite songs as lovesick teenage fuck. Back then I thought Courtney had written it...silly me. I'd be curious how Billy singing it would sound.

She write the lyrics though, she's always been a good lyricist. And a good front woman. Her singing is love it or hate it stuff, but she's very real. You can't put the same amount of heart into it when you sing, I noticed that when playing celebrity skin songs...I think just Malibu and Dying. I still love her.
